Spor, kültür ve eğitim gibi çeşitli kavramları içinde barındıran sosyal bir olgudur. Bu nedenle sporun yaygınlaştırılmasında idarecilerin spor farkındalıkları son derece önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı gençlik spor, kültür turizm ve milli eğitim müdürlerinin spor farkındalık düzeylerinin belirlenerek çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Bu çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiş betimsel bir araştırmadır. Bu yöntem sosyal 95 bilimler ve spor bilimlerinde sıkça kullanılan bir yöntem olmasının yanı sıra genellikle evren üzerinden elde edilen veriler çeşitli ilişkilerin irdelenmesi için kullanılır ve genele yordanabilir. Çalışmamızın evrenini Türkiye yer alan il ve ilçelerde görev yapmakta olan Gençlik Spor, Kültür Turizm ve Milli Eğitim müdürleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise oransız eleman örnekleme ile seçilmiş 563 müdür oluşturmaktadır. Bu müdürlerin 218 tanesi Gençlik Spor İlçe Müdürü, 219 tanesi Milli Eğitim İlçe Müdürü, 40 tanesi Kültür ve Turizm İl Müdürü, 45 tanesi Gençlik Spor İl Müdürü ve 40 tanesi Milli Eğitim İl Müdürüdür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracını iki bölüm oluşturmaktadır. Birinci bölümde araştırmada yer alan katılımcıların demografik bilgilerini elde etmek amacıyla hazırlanmış sorulardan oluşan ‘’Kişisel Bilgi Formu’’, ikinci bölümde ise katılımcıların spor farkındalığını belirlemek için “Spor Farkındalık Ölçeği” bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamızın sonucunda farkındalık düzeyleri en yüksek grup Gençlik Spor İl Müdürleri olmuştur. Spor yapan ve sporun içerisinde var olmaya çalışan müdürlerin spor farkındalıklarının daha yüksek olduğu bir diğer sonuç olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Mezun olunan bölümlere göre müdürlerin farkındalık durumları ele alındığında BESYO mezunu müdürlerin farkındalıkları diğer müdürlere oranla daha yüksek çıkmıştır.
It is a social phenomenon that includes various concepts such as sports, culture and education. For this reason, the sports awareness of the administrators is extremely important in the dissemination of sports. The aim of this study is to determine the sports awareness levels of youth sports, cultural tourism and national education directors and to compare them in terms of various variables. This study is a descriptive research conducted with quantitative research method. In addition to being a method frequently used in social sciences and sports 96 sciences, this method is generally used to examine various relationships from the data obtained from the universe and can be predicted in general. The universe of the study consists of the directors of Youth, Sports, Culture, Tourism and National Education working in the provinces and districts of Turkey. The sample of the research consists of 563 managers selected by disproportionate sampling. Of these directors, 218 are the Youth and Sports District Director, 219 are the National Education District Director, 40 of them are the Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, 45 of them are the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, and 40 of them are the Provincial Director of National Education. In the first part, there is the "Personal Information Form" consisting of questions prepared to obtain the demographic information of the participants in the research, and the "Sports Awareness Scale" in the second part to determine the sports awareness of the participants. As a result of our study, the group with the highest awareness level was the Youth and Sports Provincial Managers. It is another result that the sports awareness of the principals who do sports and try to exist in sports is higher. Considering the awareness of the managers according to the departments they graduated from, the awareness of the managers who graduated from School of Physical Education and Sports was higher than the other managers.
