Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the postoperative analgesic affects of preoperative use of a synthetic opioid tramadol and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac sodium for postoperative pain, with placebo, in patients undergoing bimaxillary osteotomy.
