Ruptured renal artery aneurysm, especially during pregnancy, is an infrequent but a catastrophic disorder. Rupture of renal artery aneurysm during pregnancy is associated with high maternal and fetal mortality of about 80%. The incidence of renal artery aneursyms in the postpartum period is unknown. We report a case of intact saccular renal artery aneurysm diagnosed and treated successfully by excision of the aneurysm and primary repair in the postpartum period.
