Abstract

This study was carried out in order to determine to what extent apomictic development would affect seed formation in the natural tetraploid red clover variety E2. Some Taracaxum-type and lxeris-type development, was determined. It was concluded that embryo sac development did not occur through aposporous development whereas it could occur through diplosporous development.
