Abstract

Background. Left ventricular hypertrophy is a major cause of morbidity and mortality among patients with chronic renal failure. Uremia-related risk factors play a fundamental role in its occurrence, thus better prognosis and prolonged survival can be attained by successful dialytic therapies.
