Participants were 300 kindergarten children selected in different socioeconomic statuses in Ankara. The mathematical thinking skills of children were tested with five sub-tests (Number Recognition, Addition & Subtraction, Pattern Recognition, Grouping and Geometry) of MATBED. Data was used to analyze the validity and reliability of MATBED. In general, findings suggest that MATBED is a reliable and valid test for evaluating the mathematical thinking skills of Turkish kindergarten children.
