Seven cases of Pott's disease, complicated by paraplegia were operated on by antero postero lateral decompression. At the outset the technique of antero lateral decompression as reported by Capener, Seddon, Alexander and Martin was used but with modifications. After operation in 2 cases the paraplegia was markedly increased. Excellent results were obtained in 5 cases. In the postoperative period the usefulness of chemotherapy and stabilization of the spine with plaster are stressed.
