Özet

A consulate was opened in Larnaca by the Republic of Turkey on July 10, 1925. Mr. Asaf, retired from Marine Consul was appointed here as a consul. Mr. Asaf connected to the ideals of the Republic of Turkey, has prepared reports on the overall situation of Cyprus and Turkish Cypriots. The report sent to the Ministry of Education dated April 24, 1927 included educational life of the Greek and Turkish communities in Cyprus. The report also includes impressions about the Mr. Kazim Nami, Turkish High School Director, and Mrs. Suad Said, Girls High School Headmistress. In this article, it will be mentioned the life and organization of education in Cyprus in the framework of this report which is translated into today's text.
