This research was carried out to determine the effects of nitrogen and phoshorus fertilization which were applied in different doses to forest gap rangelands in Akmanlar village of Bartın province during the 2006 and 2007. The doses of 0, 5 and 10 kg P da -1 of P 2 O 5 as Triple Super Phosphate and 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 kg N da -1 of Calcium Ammonium Nitrate were applied to rangeland. It was evaluated forage value that hay obtained from fist and second cut. the first cut, the mean crude protein ratio was 16.52%, while the second cut it decreased to 12.35%. It was determined that the combined fertilizer increased the crude protein ratio. Nört detergan fibre (NDF) ratio was increaed with the increasing of nitrogen doses, however it was decreased with increasing of phosphor doses. The ratio of Asid detergan fibre (ADF) was decreased with the inreasing of nitrogen doses, however it was not affected with phosphor applications. The combine affect of nitrogen and phosphor increased the ash ratio. The highest relative feed value eas obtained from first cut. In Bartin and similar ecologies, in pasture combined fertilizer has been the result of favorably affecting forage quality.
