Özet

Woman notion is important for Alevis and Bektashians as term and fact. Consequently, image of woman term in Bektashism and Alevism is not so much different from other woman-based cultures. Culture of Bektashism and Alevism has focused on human being in their doctrines without gender discrimination. Although it seems likely new for world literature, importance of woman term dates back to old times for Bektashism. Western world has been considered a term that is named universal human model. But Bektashians has already reached this point before nearly 700 years ago. In this research, human being terms has been evaluated in terms of anthropology and etimology, after than human being has been evaluated in terms of philosophy of religion. Man and woman are equivalent notions for Bektashism culture. Thus for Bektashian culture, man is as human as woman is. According to this perspective, in this research, position of woman in Bektashians and Bektashi culture has been evaluated in terms of marriage, social life, religion, clothes, Bektashian literature and religious status. Also woman notion for old Turkic people has been evaluated in this article.
