Abstract

Let M be a surface in E-3. We define surface M-f at a constant distance from the edge of regression on a surface M and investigate some properties of M-f. The correspondence of some theorems and properties which hold for parallel surfaces, which are a special case of M-f, are obtained for M-f. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
