Özet

The house is the place helping to meet the basic physiological needs, and helping man to maintain his life. In this respect, the Theory of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs maintains that the house not only meets the sheltering-related needs but also physiological needs. Therefore, this study was planned and conducted to define the house according to the Theory of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. A total of sample of 150 personnel were selected from the government affairs located in central Ankara by a simple random sampling method. The data showed that the house ownership has significant effects on the physical, social and economical features of the house (p<0.001), and gender has significant impact on the economical features of the house (p<0.05).
