This interview explores how public hospitals have been transformed under neoliberal policies, and, so as to better understand that transformation, seeks to provide the necessary conceptual framework for thinking about public services. To meet this need, a set of questions was prepared around the chosen framework, and an academic specialist in public administration was interviewed. Together with this specialist, the interview examines the conceptual framework in relation to the past, present, and future, and situates it within both Turkish and global practices.
