Özet

This study aims the measurement of the liquid fertilizers at different levels on the growth of duckweed (Lemna minor) and to investigate the relationship between the weight and covered by duckweed via image analysis technique. A linear correlation was found between these values (R(2) = 0.972). The equation is indicated as Y=5.10975+0.199898X where X is the surface area covered by duck-weed (mm) and Y is the duckweed weight (mg). It can be emphasized that the results calculated by image analysis technique were at par with the results obtained by weighing.
