Özet

Various Cu(I) salts, CuZ.L have been tested as catalysts in couplings of Grignard reagents with alkyl halides. The ratio of Cu(I) catalyst/Grignard reagent, the counterion, Z and ligand, L appear to be major factors on the coupling yield.
