Abstract

Between 1971 and 1988, we examined 116 eyes of 58 patients with Gronblad-Strandberg syndrome in private practice and in the Retinal Department of the Eye Clinic, Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University. There was initial macular involvement in 79% of cases with angioid streaks. The most frequently encountered lesion, found in 53% of the cases, was choroidal neovascularization.
