Özet

This paper presents the design and simulation of a seventh-order interdigital microstrip bandpass filter operating in the S-band. The filter is designed for a passband between 2.2 GHz and 2.5 GHz based on a Chebyshev prototype to achieve sharp selectivity and controlled passband ripple. Grounding vias are incorporated into the resonator structure to form via-loaded quarter-wavelength resonators and improve electromagnetic confinement. The initial equivalent circuit model was implemented in AWR Microwave Office, while the physical structure was analyzed using full-wave simulations in CST Microwave Studio Suite. Key geometrical parameters such as resonator lengths, coupling gaps, and feed position were optimized to obtain the desired response. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed filter achieves the required passband characteristics with good out-of-band suppression, achieving the sharp selectivity-controlled passband ripples.
