Özet

This study was carried out to investigate light and electron microscopic appearances and locations of the globule leukocytes in the small intestine of the sheep. In this study, the tissue samples taken from small intestine of 20 adult sheep were used as material. They are characterized by large eosinophilic globules, variable in number, size, shape in their cytoplasm. The globules contain strongly basic proteins associated with neutral muco-substances. Three types of globules were seen in the leukocytes; one with a homogenous electron dense matrix, with a granular matrix and globules with a dense core and at the periphery flocculent material.
