6th International Conference on Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics, PCI 2025, Baku, Azerbaycan, 25 - 28 Ağustos 2025, (Tam Metin Bildiri)
Today, many applications are being implemented for individuals with physical disabilities, and all of them have a common goal: to make the lives of individuals with disabilities easier. There are many studies in the literature on individuals with walking disabilities. Most of these studies focus on wheelchair users, but a significant portion of the physically disabled can walk with limited mobility. Although disabled individuals are classified according to their disability types, it is seen that there is no classification for individuals with walking disabilities according to their physical limitations. The primary objective of this study is to identify the disability profiles that reflect the limitations of individuals with walking disabilities. Each profile is created by classifying the physical characteristics of individuals with walking disabilities according to certain factors. This process requires a large amount of data to obtain definitive disability profiles. A comprehensive survey is conducted among individuals with walking disabilities, and a dataset is created that meets the requirements. As a result of this study, walking disabilities are clustered using a proposed algorithm, classified, and their profiles are determined, and prerequisites are obtained for the development of new applications.
