Abstract

Home care is becoming widespread between patients in both acute or chronic diseases. At present day new tecnologies, pharmaceutical advances, financial pressures and desire of patients and carevigers to remain at home changed the discharge strategy. Patients with chronic illness are living longer and patients with acute illness are discharged earlier. Considerably complex and lower priced care can be gived at home without endangering the patients' safety.
