Analysis of the Contents of the Accompaniment Course Conducted in the Conservatory Singing/Opera Department for Undergraduate Programs

Abstract

In this study, the type, the weekly course time, the credit system, the educational prerequisite, the purpose, the content, the learning outcomes, the weekly course flow, the workload and the evaluation system of the accompaniment (correpetition) courses conducted in the opera / singing majors of the performing arts department of conservatories were examined and it was aimed to reveal the common and different aspects between universities. The sample of the study consists of Hacettepe, Ankara, Başkent and Çukurova University State Conservatory. The study uses the descriptive survey model. The data was collected from the course information catalogs on the websites of the conservatories that make up the sample of the study. Course information catalogs accessed from the web pages of the schools were resolved by the document analysis method. In the study, it was concluded that the accompaniment courses carried out in conservatories contained similarities in terms of purpose, content, assessment and evaluation system, learning outcomes; differences in terms of name, weekly hours, credit system, prerequisites, weekly course flow and workload.

Bu çalışmada konservatuvarların sahne sanatları bölümü opera/şan anasanat dallarında yürütülen eşlik (korrepetisyon) dersinin türü, haftalık saati, kredi sistemi, ön koşulu, dersin amacı, içeriği, öğrenme kazanımları, haftalık ders akışı, iş yükü ve ölçme değerlendirme sistemi incelenmiş, dersin farklı kurumlarda nasıl işlendiğinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Hacettepe, Ankara, Başkent ve Çukurova ÜniversitesiDevlet Konservatuvarları oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma betimsel tarama modelindedir. Veriler, araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturan konservatuvarların web sitelerinde yer alan ders bilgi paketlerinden toplanmıştır. Ulaşılan ders bilgi paketleri, doküman analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Okullarda yürütülen eşlik derslerinin bilgi paketleri incelendiğinde amaç, içerik, öğrenme kazanımları ve ölçme değerlendirme sistemi açısından benzerlikler; haftalık saat, kredi sistemi, ön koşul, haftalık ders akışı ve iş yükü bakımından farklılıklar içerdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
