Özet

A search for singly produced vector-like B quark (VLB) with charge -1/3 and decayed into tW (in the single lepton final state) is performed in proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(−1) recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. No significant deviation from the expected Standard Model background is observed. Upper limits are set on the mass of VLB and the mixing between the SM quark sector and a singlet VLB quark. The upper limits set on the singlet VLB quark of mass 1500 GeV, with kappa=0.5 in this channel. These limits can also be converted to the limits for other VLQ representations. Within the model framework, the limits set on the masses are comparable with the other channels through the single electroweak production at the LHC.
