(Chestnut) grows naturally in montane forests of north Anatolia, particularly cultured for its fruits around Bursa, tree form, 25-30 m, is a plant with social and economic importance which belongs to Fagaceae family. Barks, leaves (drug) and fruits (food) of this plant are used. The plant is prefered due to containing the chemicals in pharmaceutical and food industries and in terms of wood in the woodworking industry. In the study, anatomical structure of the leaves which are used as drug and fruits which are used as food were investigated. It has been also studied cupule with taking the sections as anatomical. Characteristic elements of leaf, cupule and fruit were identified with taking the sections. Theirs structures were illustrated with photographs. Leaf is bifacial which located stomata in the lower epidermis. Abundant sclereids, cluster crystals of calcium oxalate, very dense bundle trichomes composed of 2-3 trichomes with simple cell, multicellular head and stalk with glandular hairs in the between of trichomes were shown in taking the sections of cupule. In taking the sections of the nut pericarp, lignified structures and simple trichomes in the inner surface were observed. In the cross section of testa, crushed shaped of parenchymatic cells under the single row with epidermis and properly located vascular bundles are prominent.
