This study aims to apply the region filling operations in an optimized way by using the methods of texture synthesis and carry out experimental analysis comparisons with the results obtained from those methods. The texture synthesis approaches employed in the study are "Exemplar Based Image In-painting", "Patch-Based Sampling", "Non-parametric Sampling" approaches respectively. The working methodology declared here follows four main stages. First, appropriate image data sets are selected. Then, the methodologies of texture synthesis to be utilized is determined. Afterwards, region filling operations are performed with the application of texture synthesis approaches on images. Finally, experimental results are obtained and evaluated.
