Background. Knowing the effects of neuromuscular electric stimulation (NMES) and exercise used in shoulder rehabilitation on muscle architecture, pain, muscle strength and quality of life will enable a more accurate and effective treatment plan for patients with rotator cuff tendinopathies (RCT).
