Özet
Given the extensive agricultural use of glyphosate (Gly) as an herbicide for pest management in various food and environmental matrices, this study presents the creation of recognition sites by implementation of molecularly imprinting technology for the rapid and facile voltammetric determination of Gly. A mixture of functional monomer pyrrole (Py) and Gly as the template molecule on the surface of a platinum plate electrode (Pt-PE) was used in the construction of Gly imprinted sensor (Gly-IPPy) applying cyclic voltammetry (CV) in the potential range from −0.1 to +1.4 V with/without chemometric approach. Under optimised experimental conditions at pH 5.0, the peak currents measured by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) showed linearity versus Gly concentrations in the range of 0.5 aM–0.26 fM, demonstrating the successful creation of selective sites with an imprinting factor of 8.19. The developed Gly-IPPy sensor exhibited good repeatability (3.8%) and reproducibility (1.3%) in the highly selective detection of Gly in environmental and food samples as an analytical application resulted in recoveries ranging from 99.5–101.5%.
