Özet

Recently, the increased life expectancy has caused anesthesiologists to encounter hip fractures of elderly people more. Due to the presence of comorbidities in geriatric patients, determination of pain management strategies and the anesthetic technique require careful observation and attention at every stage. In the present review, the analgesic and anesthetic methods in hip fractures of elderly patients have been reviewed in the light of the literature knowledge.
