Abstract

Introduction: Papillary thyroid cancer is a disease that has been associated with chronic inflammation. The purpose of this study is to measure the production of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-1 beta, IL-6 and IL-8 and neopterin, which is a novel biomarker for cellular immune response in papillary thyroid cancer.
