This chapter explores the geographical embeddedness and intersectional ties of Russian and Ukrainian female marriage migrants in Türkiye, focusing on their social and economic integration within Antalya’s tourism sector. These ties, shaped by intersecting factors such as gender, ethnicity, and marital status, influence local and transnational relationships, facilitating employment and social mobility while reinforcing cultural and diasporic connections. Tourism serves as a structuring force that not only provides economic opportunities but also mediates the formation of social networks, linking migrant women to host communities and broader transnational spaces. The chapter further examines how geopolitical shifts, particularly the Russia-Ukraine War, impact migrant ties and identities, leading to new forms of community engagement and diasporic mobilization. By integrating spatial embeddedness with an intersectional perspective, the study highlights how local economic structures shape migrant agency, revealing the dynamic relationship between place, identity, and transnational connectivity.
