Al-Nasafī's fame and recognition in this art primarily depends on his influential and highly appreciated tracts al-Fusūl and Mansha' al-Nazar. Yet al-Nasafī seems to have written many more works, some of which are still in manuscript form, on the theory of 'ilm al-nazar and its practice in substantive law. This article introduces for the first time several hitherto unknown works by al-Nasafī and discusses their ascription to him. It argues that there is strong internal and external evidence to claim those titles as al-Nasafī's. Identification of these new works of al-Nasafī's will help recognize and appreciate his leading role in perfecting the the art of argumentation and disputation and will give us a chance to better understand the development of this highly neglected discipline.
