Özet

Biosphere reserves are internationally significant areas of terrestrial and coastal ecosystems which are involved in Man and Biosphere Programme of UNESCO. Some information concerning the method of biosphere reserves study in Turkey is presented in the paper. Recommendations in view of the effective use of administration structure are also proposed.
