Abstract

The title compound, C12H7BrN2O, is a 2-bromo, N6-oxide derivative of the ligand benzo[c]cinnoline. The benzo[c]cinnoline skeleton is nearly planar. The dihedral angle between the two benzenoid rings is 2.1(1)degrees.
