All Rights Reserved.Corona virus, Covid-19 disease, March 11 was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, and with the decision of the Ministry of National Education on March 12, 2020, face-to-face education of schools was suspended at the beginning of March 16, 2020. A private school in Ankara started distance education right after the decision. In order to examine this process with a case study, the whole process was observed and the evaluation of the process was asked to teachers with semi-structured questions. The answers were analyzed by qualitative analysis method and divided into codes and categories. According to the findings, they stated that teachers generally adapt to the distance education process, they easily adopt technology, in addition to the negativities such as not being face-to-face and being on the screen all the time, they also have positive aspects such as students listen more carefully, the teacher can teach lessons faster. Teachers stated that they successfully carried out the distance education process.
