Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a generalization of a class of linear positive operators constructed in [(7)]. Approximation properties of these operators are given in weighted spaces of continuous functions on positive semi-axis. Also an estimate is obtained by using classical modulus of continuity. We compute the order of convergence of these operators with the help of the elements of Lipschitz class and present an application to functional differential equations.
