New record of predatory mite (Prostigmata: Ereynetidae) with some cheyletid mites (Acari: Cheyletidae) from garlic agrosystems in Turkey

Özet

Ereynetes (Ereynetes) septentrionalis (Berlese) (Ereynetidae) samples were collected from storage spaces and garlic growing areas in KastamonuTurkey. The family Ereynetidae and Ereynetes are new records for Turkey. Cheletomorpha lepidopterorum (Shaw), Cheyletus eruditus (Schrank) and Cheyletus malaccensis (Oudemans) (Acari: Cheyletidae) have also been collected during this study. Samples were collected during the vegetation period in garlic growing areas and their storage spaces in Kastamonu during 20142015. Measurements and drawings of E. (E.) septentrionalis (Berlese) and distribution records for the cheyletid species have been provided.
