Abstract

Catheter-induced left main coronary artery dissection is an uncommon but devastating complication of coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. We present a case of left main coronary artery dissection induced with a guide catheter, which resulted in acute occlusion and cardiac arrest. Survival and complete functional recovery were achieved with bailout stenting. © 2007 HMP Communications | All Rights Reserved.
