Özet
This letter brings into attention of the readers, The Seveso II Directive, which will be in act after 2015, throughout the member states of the European Union, accepted after a two year consultation with all stakeholders, finalized to law by the European Decision Mechanisms. The Seveso II Directive has been renewed according to the unification and further development of the Directives; 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC and inclusion of Annex I (CLP). However, by a birds'eye peer, it seems obvious that further refinements and improvements for a more more constitutive list of hazardous substances will need to be reconsidered in the future, at the more global UNEP initiatives taking OSHA criteria as a gold standart. The recent SAICM initiative and global Action Plan for hazardous substances management and governance may also be a good guide for future considerations to improve precautions and implementations for environment and human health. © 2011 TurkJBiochem.com.
