Herein we present a patient with a palpable mass in the abdominal wall which he had recognised recently. Unenhanced computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed an intramuscular mass and expansion of the obliquus internus muscle with subfascial extension of a fatty component between obliquus internus and externus muscles. The mass showed heterogenously strong enhancement after intravenous administration of contrast material. Wide surgical resection was performed and the histopathological diagnosis was intramuscular hemangioma.
