Özet

This study identified the pathotypes of Pyrenophora teres collected from the Sanl & imath;urfa province of Turkiye located in the Fertile Crescent region. From 47 isolates of P. teres f. teres obtained from H. vulgare, 37 pathotypes were found. Among the 37 isolates of P. teres f. maculata from H. vulgare, 25 pathotypes were identified. From the 40 isolates of P. teres f. teres collected from H. bulbosum and H. spontaneum, 31 pathotypes were found. Furthermore, 9 pathotypes were identified among the 22 isolates of P. teres f. maculata from H. spontaneum. In total, 63 pathotypes were identified from the P. teres f. teres isolates obtained from H. vulgare, H. bulbosum, and H. spontaneum and 31 pathotypes were recognized from isolates of P. teres f. maculata from H. vulgare and H. spontaneum. These findings indicate that P. teres shows significant pathogenic diversity and wild barley species contribute to this diversity.
