Abstract

In the title compound, C(12)H(17)O(4)P, the phenylbutenyl group is disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.755 (12):0.245 (12). In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds occur, forming R(2)(2)(10) ring motifs. The packing is consolidated by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.
