Abstract

Pyrenophora teres f. maculata incites spot form of barley net blotch disease. For determination of Pyrenophora teres f. maculata pathotypes, a differential set consisted of 22 international cultivars and genotypes and a susceptible Turkish barley variety Bulbul 89 were tested using 45 isolates obtained from different regions of Turkey. Nineteen pathotypes were determined out of 45 isolates used. It appears that this differential set could be useful for determination of P. teres f. maculata pathotypes.
