Abstract

The Monte Carlo Technique has been applied to the calculation of tissue air ratios for a range of irradiation conditions relevant to diagnostic radiology. In order to make a direct comparison with the previously published data, measurements have been carried out at similar X-ray beam qualities and field sizes.
