Isoproteinic diets based on agricultural byproducts were tested as feeds for A. diaperinus larvae. Larval growth rates of A. diaperinus were improved by diets combining lupin with barley or triticale. Larvae fed with high oat byproduct inclusion in the diet exhibited poorer performance. Diet composition significantly influenced feed utilization and economic efficiency. Protein levels had minimal direct impact on larval development in tested diets.
