Shortages of skilled workers can slow economic growth and limit opportunities. These challenges are compounded by global workforce migration, which affects both the countries sending and receiving talent. Understanding the dynamics of skills gaps and migration is essential for creating fair and sustainable solutions.

The EU-funded SKILLS4JUSTICE project aims to study how partnerships between countries can help manage shortages while supporting local development.

Specifically, it will analyse skills shortages in these selected countries and evaluate how migration affects skills development in both origin and destination countries. The project will develop a toolkit to support skill partnerships and reduce brain drain.
