Abstract

The title molecule, C21H24N2O3, an N2O3-type crown compound, is a crystallographically centrosymmetric multidentate Schiff base ligand containing two imine N and three ether O atoms. It has a short C=N imine bond length [1.254 (4) Å] and a narrow C - N - C angle [117.9(3)°] compared with salicylaldimine and naphthaldimine Schiff bases.
