In the recent years eyeglasses are replaced by contact lenses in the medical treatment of eye illnesses. So, to care lenses, the need for solutions with different purposes gain importance. In the article below, types of lenses and their advantages disadvantages; problems that one can come across by using lenses; solutions used for different purposes like cleaning, disinfecting, wetting, rinsing; main components in the solutions and various commercial products are reviewed.
