Özet

Abstract

Neurodegenerative disorders and diseases are one of the most important public health issues. The usage of responsive electrochemical Aptamer-Based biosensors to determine biomarkers is an efficient technique for the early diagnosis and prognosis of varied neurodegenerative diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Tourette syndrome, Huntington’s disease, and so on, that, for this reason, it attracts a lot of attention. Aptamers are synthetic oligonucleotides that have a high affinity to target particular analytes. The construction of electrochemical Aptamer-Based sensors for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases as an appearing technology has made the determination of molecular analytes more straightforward, quick, compact, and more appropriate for the basic electroanalytical field to the early analysis of many biomarkers. In this chapter, we present a survey of the most thematic aptamer sensors for neurotransmitters with analytical characteristics such as detection limit, sensitivity, selectivity, electrochemical method, and electrode materials.
