Abstract

A new series of flavonyl oxime ether derivatives (FO1-FO6) was prepared by reaction of flavone-3'-carboxaldehyde (111) with O-substituted hydroxyl amine derivatives (IV). The synthesized compounds were tested for their in vitro antifungal and antibacterial activities. All the compounds exhibited antimicrobial activity.
