Prof. OKTAY ALGIN

Dr. Algin is an interventional radiologist and academic staff at the Ankara University, Department of Radiology; and National MR Research Center, Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey). Also, he is the director of the Interventional MR Clinical R&D Institute of Ankara University. Dr. Algin’s research focuses on CSF disorders, imaging/intervention of brain aneurysms, and interventional neuroradiology. Studies of Dr. Algin have been published in high-level academic journals including AJNR, BJR, AJR, JCAT, Neuroradiology, and Magnetic Resonance in Medicine. He has authored or co-authored 131 articles (SCI or SCI-Expanded) and has 30 international presentations and approximately 2500 citations. Also, he is the founder of a start-up company. He has one national medical patent (about a new MR contrast agent).
