Biography
Emre Koyuncu received his PhD from Purdue University in 2014. His publications focus on the twentieth century philosophy (Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Derrida, and Donna Haraway) and modern philosophy (Spinoza) from various angles, primarily from that of animal studies and ecocriticism. He translated Gilles Deleuze's Foucault, Différence et répétition, Cinéma 2: L'image-temps (with P. Burcu Yalım) and Gayatri Spivak's Can Subaltern Speak? into Turkish. He carries on with his research as an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at Ankara University and gives lectures on the history of Western philosophy.
